Expensive fibre technology is protected properly during handling and transportation by simple mechanical means.
Orbiter cable drums are delivered in fixed dimensions of height and depth and scalable widths.
It can be chosen out of 22 sizes with 2 different core diameters.
These two main characteristics allow perfect protection of sensitive fibre technology and enhanced exploitation of limited storage space especially in mobile units.
Orbiter cable drums take large capacities, our largest drum can take up to 7000 meters of 6 mm or 2500 meters of 9.2 mm cable.
The widths are scalable, according to the needed capacity resulting from given length and diameter of the cable.
